Welcome to our Trinity Kids resource page!
Things have certainly changed with the advent of coronavirus, but isn’t it wonderful to know that our great God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Moving church online obviously means we can’t run our usual Prime Time kids program, but it doesn’t reduce our passion to see children coming to and growing in faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We hope that these resource packs will help you as a family with these key goals in mind:
- To encourage families in their fellowship in Christ
- To equip parents with resources for the discipleship of your children
- To grow children as disciples of Jesus.
Each week will have a resource pack that relates to the Bible passage for that Sunday, with a ‘Family Spot’ video, ‘Passage Pointers’ with suggestions for how to read the Bible passage as a family, ‘God Talk’ discussion guide to help families engage children of different ages with the Bible passage and its application to life. In the coming weeks we look forward to adding other features such as craft and activity suggestions to complement the content, sermon worksheets to help upper-primary and junior-high children engage with the sermons, and we’re open to other ideas you might have for how we can build on this.
Moving forward you will find these resources most beneficial if you can view the material ahead of time to plan how you will use your time on Sunday as a family and to work out what resources you might want to print off or equipment to gather in preparation for activities. Keep an eye on this page for updates!
As God spoke of his Word to Israel through Moses “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up…” (Deuteronomy 6:6-8). Happy discipling!
