Geoff is passionate about seeing people turn to Christ and stand firm in Him, and so after studying Economics and Law as an undergraduate, and working as a Strategic Management Consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton, he added a Bachelor of Divinity to his repertoire (that’s nine years of tertiary study!).
He now loves working with university students at Trinity City, leading the staff team at Evangelical Students North Terrace (ES), and serving as SA/NT Regional Director for the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES). Geoff is also the Anglican Chaplain at Adelaide University and UniSA City East/West, he oversees the Ministry Apprenticeship Program (MAP), and is the South Australian Coordinator for the Ministry Training Strategy (MTS).
Along with his wonderful wife, Wendy, he oversees Trinity City’s Marriage Works and Parent Works ministries. Additionally, he chairs the steering committee for Living Hope SA—a ministry that supports individuals, families and churches in regards to sexuality and LGBT+ issues.
Geoff hates pets and AFL but loves his wife and three children, and enjoys cooking Chinese food and eating Yum Cha. He calls himself ‘Faysian’ (‘Fake Asian’), which is a new term for Australian-born Chinese that he’s hoping will gain widespread usage.
